The caption “No Man is Just a Number” was uniquely created for the Prisoner
DVD Box Set. Kirby wondered how hard it was to come up with this sentence.
Grammatical thinking cap on, you can't use a double negative in the same clause.
(“No man is not a number” doesn't work.) Performing some undercover work, Kirby
discovered a pile of rejected
captions in a cylindrical file at the A&E plant. Many are now restored and presented to
you exclusively at the Prisoner U.S. Home Page, because ‘we care.’
